Description
The blending of the Nebbiolos grown in the heart of Barbaresco district results in this splendid red wine, made following a procedure that enhances their particular qualities.
Intense ruby red with garnet highlights, it has an ethereal nose showing fruit and spices.
Warm and full-bodied on the mouth, it has great structure and aromatic length, and tannins softening with the passing of the years.
A wine with great ageing potential that also possesses the fragrance, freshness and delicacy that recommend it for drinking from its first years in the bottle.
At its very best with rich meat-based cuisine, such as roast lamb and stews.

Varietal composition: 100% Nebbiolo
Harvest period: first half of October
Vinification and ageing: crushing of the grapes, fermentation and maceration in steel.
The wine evolves for at least 9 months, in large oak casks. Several months follow in the bottle, stored horizontally in underground cellars.
Alcohol: 13.5-14%
Colour: intense ruby red with garnet highlights.
Nose: fruity notes of red berries, cherries in alcohol and jam; flowery hints of withered violets and spices.
Taste: warm and dry, quite tannic and long aromatic finish.
Food pairings: goes well with both pasta dishes and well-structured, complex mains.
